iPhone 3g and 3GS coming to Orange in the UK

Further to our earlier post about O2’s exclusivity on the Apple iPhone in the UK, it has emerged today that Orange will be bringing the iPhone 3G and iPhone3GS to UK customers later this year. Orange, which already has the largest 3G network, has setup a registration site for potential customers to get their name down.

Just to confirm that this is not a rumour but official direct from Orange UK.

The addition of the iPhone on Orange increases the availability of the handset and and therefore lead to an increase in sales. o2 have had the UK exclusive since the iPhone launched. It is assumed that they will continue to sell the device.
