iPhone to finally get MMS on AT&T

After a very long wait, AT&T has said that US customers will finally be getting multimedia messaging capabilities through a soon-to-be-released update. The software will be available through Apple’s iTunes store from 25 September and will finally restore the MMS feature to the iPhone which was withheld from US customers because of concerns over the networks suitability to handle the additional data. The update will only be available for the iPhone 3G and iPhone3GS.
